Taoistic Imaging
Lately, my camerawork focus is on the classic philosophical themes of a Taoist worldview. It presents ideas about living a life of simplicity, naturalness, compassion, and with no willful striving nor over-manipulation. Tao involves accepting the deep rhythms of nature and the "way of all things.” My intent is to explore how this philosophy affects a photographer’s approach and way of seeing. I hope you feel that influence in all three of these portfolios.
